Boyne Loyal Orange Lodge No. 298 received its warrant in 1844 in the village of Masonville, Ontario. A new warrant was issued on April 15th, 1855 when the lodge moved its activities to London, Ontario. Meetings were held in many London locations throughout the Lodge's history, including:
Due to declining membership, Boyne Loyal Orange Lodge No. 298 closed in December 1940. The remaining members transferred to other London Lodges.
- The Edge Block at 402 1/2 Richmond Street until December 1898;
- The Albion Block at the corner of Richmond and Carling Streets from January to September of 1899;
- The Duffield Block at 215 Dundas Street from October 1899 to January 1904;
- The Coote at 12 Market Lane from February 1905 until December 1907;
- The Sherwood Hall located at 471 1/2 Richmond Street from January 1908 to September 1909;
- The Grand Opera House Block at 473 Richmond Street from October 1909 to January 1914;
- The Orange Hall at the corner of Dundas Street and Market Lane from February 1914 until November 1923;
- The Ulster Hall at the corner of Dundas and Clarence Streets from December 1923 to December 1927; and
- The Orange Hall at 388 Clarence Street from February 1928 until December 1940.
Due to declining membership, Boyne Loyal Orange Lodge No. 298 closed in December 1940. The remaining members transferred to other London Lodges.
