Gloucester Loyal Orange Lodge No. 222 received its warrant in 1849. The Lodge built its first Hall in the 1860's on Bank Street near Blossom Park.
In 1876 Gloucester Loyal Orange Lodge No. 222 relocated to Billings Bridge, Ontario.
The July 14th, 1890 edition of the Ottawa citizen stated that a new Orange Hall would be dedicated to the Billings Bridge Loyal Orange Lodge on August 4th, 1890.
